Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended

Using a PC to send a printing command to the printer either using word or pdf. The printer initially responded with 'printing' on the touch screen and you can hear printer head start moving. However after couple of seconds, everything stopped working : no more movement inside printer; 'printing' message disappear on screen; On desktop, in the printer task queue the job is marked as complete.

Tried to switch off/on power, update driver or firmware, same issue resists.

Need further guidance and advice....

P.S. The printer is only 5 months old....and print less than 100 pages so far.

Some printers have a printhead cleaning procedure.

To clean the printhead on an HP printer, access the printer settings through the HP Smart app, navigate to "Print Quality Tools," and select "Clean Printhead"; this will initiate a cleaning cycle where the printer will automatically run a cleaning process to clear any clogs in the printhead

Inkjet and printhead cleaning kits are available

This video shows how to remove a printhead

Consumer inkjet printer printheads typically last for several years, with some lasting up to 10 years or even longer. However, the lifespan can vary greatly depending on usage, maintenance, and environmental factors.
