Microsoft Windows 11

I have intermittent, mostly no connection when scanning via WiFi.  Trying to connect from my HP Envy x360 to ET-5170 printer.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

Scan and Capture was retired in April of 2024.

This  means the app is no longer available at the Microsoft Store.

 

The application is likely still usable as long as it remains installed.

 

Be aware:  Should the app be removed, there is no way to reinstall.

 

Check that the printer is stable on the network -- a Fixed / manual / static IP address tends to work better than letting the printer move around and change connections.

 

Check with the Epson Community for additional ideas to keep the printer connected.

 

Perhaps fall back on the supported Epson drivers for your printer.
