Hi,
I cannot get my HP deskjet 3630 to connect to Wi-Fi again after updating to a different network .
I don’t have a pc…I’m using an updated iPad. Printer has always been on automatic updates, so I’m assuming that’s all good.
I can’t find the cable (printer/router) …I don’t have the router, just a mesh box from my landlords.
I have tried everything recommended via the HP print outs…everything I’ve read/seen on line..
I’ve tried setting up as my existing printer, starting from scratch and as a new printer…same results ‘trying to find a device’ keeps loading..it will not connect.
Ive tried to connect to the Wi-Fi direct, which is still there, but it says no connection.
I’ve set this up so many times before and it’s usually straight forward, but this time🤷🏼
my landlords had given me a mesh box and I went around all my devices and successfully managed to update everything.
The printer was last device and it seemed to connect. I got a print out paper after, so I assumed it was ok.
A week later, and I needed to print out… Nothing 😭
Im not mega techy… 😅
Thank you in advance …any help gratefully received.

Do check with your network provider, the encryption type of your new network and whether it's 2.4 or 5 GHz.
Let me know if this helps.

The landlord says it’s not 5 GHZ .. that’s all he did say.
his advice was turn everything off and in again .. I’m waaay beyond that stage.
I can disconnect from my WiFi network on my iPad and choose the HP network link , which is off line and won’t connect … and print out from there, but it’s a total pain.

Let's restore the network settings on the printer: Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Once done, connect the printer to the Wi-Fi.
Let me know if this helps.

Hi!
Unfortunately, I’ve done that so many times and it always comes up “no air print printers found”
I did try it again, hopeful that it might just kick in …nope
:(…………. ……….
thanks for still trying though, much appreciated x

I was able to disconnect but didn;t know how to connecy the printer to the wifi. What I did was to hold the WiFi button for 3 seconds until the WiFi symbol on the display as well as the blue button blinked. I then held the WPS button on my router for 3 seconds and It too blinked, but there was no WiFi connection with the printer. I wanted to try connection between my printer and computer with an ethernet cable, but my printer doesnt have an ethernet port. I was able to connect the two with a USB cable. Still no go.
I wasn't sure what network the printer was on to make sure they were on the same network.. Where do I specify the printer network?
