Hello,

I have been having problems connecting with my HP Office jet pro 9015 via Wi-Fi. I use to just a few weeks ago. The Wifi light is off. and when I try to reconnect via the printer display I don't see the WIFI icon anymore. It says " you cannot use the device's wireless function because it has been disabled by the administrator or the person who set up the device". That person should be me but I don't know how?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi Kai_Xin,

All of your questions are answered with NO.

The WIFI light in the printer display is not on. The option of choosing the WIFI icon disappeared. I don't see the setup wizard option as well. The error I get when troubleshooting is "  your wifi is disabled by the administrator or the person who installed this printer.  That person is me.

Thank you for your assistance

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I've contacted a support agent to get in touch with you to resolve your issue.

On the other hand, can you let me know what is the brand and model of router you are currently using?

Hi @Inloop,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
