Hi. I have been trying to get my printer connected to new Internet. I thought Zi was successful the other day. My smart aop showed my router name while I was following all of the steps..printer internet icon was lit, my app showed last step for connecting then it gave an error code. After forgetting printer & adding new printer as I had done previously , I clicked "forget printer" & "add printer". But now the app can't even find my printer! I can't even reach first step. App tries to use an external Internet to find printer & can't connect to that either.Yet the printer itself still shows wifi icon at full strength.
How can I set up new wifi through hp com on my laptop? Hp support won't even tell me that. When I sign in to my account, it only gives me instructions for smart app.
My printer does not have touch screen. I've pushed buttons & held them for 2 weeks now, getting nowhere. Any help is appreciated.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.
Please follow the steps below to connect your printer to the new network.
1) Uninstall the HP smart app, Restart the printer and the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.
2) Enable Wi-Fi setup mode: When you turn on your printer for the first time, it is temporarily placed in Wi-Fi setup mode so that it can be discovered during setup. Use the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode, and then set up the printer again. Go to Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer for more information.
3) Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer.
Note: Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.

I'd already done everything you suggested before I posted this problem. . Somehow I did get set up on the internet, for 2nd time but at last step, the printer Smart app gave me an error code. It had done this before, but then didn't get that far. Now it has gotten to final step again. When I looked up the error code, I couldn't find it. It's EBS00P0010. HP says it has something do do with my ink cartridge. My printer shows wifi full signal in blue. But Smart app says there's no Internet.

Hi, I've gotten my HP Smart App to say my printer is connected to new internet. But on its last step it won't finish doing whatever it's supposed to do. The app gives me Error Code ebs00p0010 and says "unable to complete." The blue WIFI light stays lit on my printer but I can't get anything to print. I looked up the error code and it says I need to clean cartridges. I just installed a color cartridge and my black one has barely been used. I wiped the cartridges, I wiped inside printer, though I can't really get my arthritic swollen fingers down there to clean. I don't know what else it wants. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to throw the printer out the door and buy another brand. I can't afford to go out and buy 2 new ink cartridges. I might as well buy another printer. It would be cheaper. any help is appreciated.

Irwin6, I've posted another problem, still regarding connection of printer to Wifi. I had gotten to the very last step several times before and after reading your reply. See my post about Error Code ebs00p0010. thanks!

It is a constant problem with this printer. Rarely has anyone in my household ever simply sent something to print and it worked. It is a constant issue. I am sending mine back to HP so they can deal with this ewaste they sold me.

I agree This printer is trash and they want to be all in your business. They dont have any rights to know what we are printing. They said i needed to continue paying for ink subscriptions to use my printer. Thats why its not connecting any more. I cancelled the subscription, now im being extorted.
