My HP Officejet 4500G510n-z had been working fine on Windows 10 (an upgrade from 7) on my HP Pavilion.

All of a sudden the Solution Center brings up a screen with  the letters f  i  on it and goes no further.

When I run the HP Diagnostic Doctor and choose the Scan option, everything checks out. When I then choose to run a Test Scan, it looks just like the original Solution Center app.

Can this app (that works fine) be located and replace the existing Solution Center?

Hi,

Please check below TKB and try HP Scan Extended or HP Scan and Capture, be sure not to uninstall any existing drivers from your PC, although the HP Solution Center doesn't work:
