I can't seem to print when Norton VPN is enabled. Any suggestions?
I put HPSmart.exe in the excluded apps. Nothing works until I turn off the VPN.
The printer is wireless and connected to the same network as computer

Hi @gaheadhunter,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
HP Smart and wireless printing rely on local network discovery protocols to communicate with your printer. When a VPN is enabled, especially one like Norton Secure VPN, it often routes all internet traffic through a remote tunnel, making local devices (like your printer) invisible to your computer.
Disclaimer: HP printers do not support VPN-based local printing because VPNs isolate your PC from your home network, where your printer resides.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
