I am trying to connect my printer to wireless internet but it wants an admin password. I never set an admin username nor password. Everything I have tried does not work and I cannot factory reset it without the password. Please help! I am not looking to reset the wireless password but the ADMIN password.

The location of the PIN on an HP printer can vary depending on the model. Here are some common places to look:
|
If admin (Admin) and 12345678 or the above PIN do not allow login, then get a network status printout or ask Microsoft's Copilot
For Wi-Fi direct printing there is no username, you just need the printers Wi-Fi password that comes from the network status printout.
Let me know what you find out.

There is no sticker anywhere on the printer with a PIN.
I can get the WPS PIN but this is not the ADMIN password.
The password is not what prints out as the Wi-Fi Direct Password. That doesn't work.
I do not have a user manual.
How do I factory reset the printer or reset the ADMIN password?
I cannot access any of the security settings or the factory reset without the admin passoword.
The Printer Status Report says the admin password is not set.
But yet everything is locked with a password.
