Hi @Joeycrack24,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing a connectivity issue with your HP DeskJet 2640 All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To assist better:
 

  • Could you please share a screenshot of the window where you are getting the message to type in the PIN?
  • Are you looking for a WPS PIN?
  • Do you have a regular router or is it a hotspot?

While you respond to that, please open the ink access area and check for the printer PIN and enter that. Press the information(i) button once and it will print 2 pages, check for PIN if it is present there.

 

If the issue persists you may follow the steps mentioned on this Link to resolve your issue.
