Hi @alleycat80,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer isn't printing wirelessly from your Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ running Windows 11, here are the steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

1. Check Wi-Fi Connection

  • Make sure both your Surface Pro and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • On the printer, tap the Wi-Fi icon to confirm it's connected.

2. Remove and Re-add the Printer

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Remove the HP printer if it’s listed.
  • Click Add a printer or scanner and wait for Windows to detect it.
  • If it doesn’t appear, click “The printer that I want isn’t listed” and follow the prompts to add it manually using its IP address.

3. Install HP Smart App

4. Set as Default Printer

  • In Printers & scanners, click your HP printer > Manage > Set as default.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
