@MAY7153, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer password!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you've lost the password for your HP printer and are unable to connect it to your new WiFi network, you can try resetting the network settings on the printer. Here’s a general guideline on how to do this:

Resetting Network Settings:

Locate the Reset Option:

  • On many HP printers, you can find the 'Wireless', 'Network', or 'Settings' menu on the printer’s control panel.

Access the Network Settings:

  • Navigate to the 'Network' or 'Wireless' settings option.

Restore Network Defaults:

  • Select the option to 'Restore Network Settings' or 'Restore Network Defaults'. This will erase all previous network settings, including passwords.

Reconfigure Network Connection:

  • After restoring network settings, you will need to reconnect your printer to the WiFi. Use the Wireless Setup Wizard available on the printer’s control panel to search for and connect to your new network.

Password for Wireless Network:

  • During the setup via the Wireless Setup Wizard, you'll need to enter your new WiFi password.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
