Hi
I have a Laserjet CP1025nw colour printer.
I had it setup on my home network and it has been working reliably for more than 4 years on the network along with an HP Laserjet Multifunction MP1217 unit.
My ISP changed our building over to a new system and with that came a new router.
On my old router, I had a fixed IP for this printer (192.168.0.24) as I was having issues when the printer was using DHCP.
The new router uses an IP range of 10.0.0.x
I couldn't get the printer to connect to the new router. Using the install software, It was able to see the SSID on the router and I entered the correct password but it would not connect.
I performed a factory reset thinking that I could start fresh.
When I print the configuration page, on the line for 'IP Configured by' it says Not Configured
When I look at the same report prior to the factory reset it says Manual.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to try.
I think I need to be able to get into the settings on the printer to change the IP Configured by to an automatic setting, but I can't seem to find instructions anywhere on how to do this.
thanks
