I’ve been trying for weeks to get my printer set up on my new wireless network. I have pressed all the buttons, tried to change it inside of the HP smart desktop app (Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1). I can see all the network settings, when I select my new network and enter the password for the network, I get the error, “Can’t open printer home or EWS page”.
I’m trying to reset to factory defaults intisde of the app, and the button to do so is greyed out. So now I’m comepltely stuck. How can I restore to factroy settings/ or get past that error for my wifi.
Thanks in advace for the help!

Hi,
Please make sure the printer is ready with a solid power light, if the power light blinks press cancel to wake the printer from energy sleep mode.
Next, Press and hold the Wireless button until the Attention light flashes, and then wait for the Wireless light to flash.
Now open HP Smart, click Add Printer and select Setup and Add a new printer and follow the steps on screen,
Please let me know if that may help,
Shlomi

Sadly that did not help. 😞
Is there a way to reset the printer to factory settings, so I can set it up as a new printer? This is stuck on the old wifi, and even when I open the HP smart app on my Mac (with the USB cord connected to the printer) it will not let me restore to factory settings. All the other buttons are blue and this one is gray.
