this worked for me:
Press and hold the Wireless button for 22 seconds, this will restore the network settings of your printer.
Next, follow 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel > Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app' below:

Hi,
Reset the network settings by pressing and holding the wireless button for more than 20 seconds, once the network settings are restored you will see an HP-Setup network listed within your nearby wireless networks.
Next. follow 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel >Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app' below, skip the steps to reset the wireless settings and start with the step to open the HP Smart app:

I have recently updated my Windows 10 (1903 home). Since then my M15W has refused to connect with my wireless network. All my other devices are working fine.
When I reboot the printer the blue wireless light flashes twice & then goes off. It will not turn on at all. When I print out a Configuration Report, it states in the Wireless Network Configuration that: Status: Not Connected, Wireless: Off.
I have tried the HP Smart assistant, it cant connect with the printer. I have deleted it & reinstalled the printer using a USB cable, the Smart Assistant does not find a wireless network even when specifically sent to the correct SSID.
I have tried all the suggestions in the previous answers to no avail.
How can I switch my wireless back on? How do I perform a factory reset when I have no IP address & the host name in the Configuration Report is not recognised.
Thanks for your help.
