MFP 140W is offline, turned on/off, connected to the hp scan doctor and it cannot find it. The wifi blue light is on and under there is an exclamation red light that is blinking.
It is not connecting to WIFi, as other devices that i have now working just fine.
Please help.

Hi @TREBISS,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When your HP LaserJet MFP 140W is showing a blinking red exclamation mark and is offline despite the Wi-Fi blue light being on, it typically indicates a connectivity issue. Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot the problem.
- Check Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network and that the network name (SSID) and password are correctly entered. You may need to re-enter the Wi-Fi credentials if they have changed.
- Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.
- Check Wi-Fi Router: Ensure that your Wi-Fi router is working properly and broadcasting the network. If other devices can connect to the Wi-Fi without any issues, then focus on troubleshooting the printer.
- Reset Network Settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings and reset the network configuration. Follow the printer's manual for specific instructions on how to reset the network settings.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve connectivity issues and improve performance. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website.
- Disable/Enable Wi-Fi: Disable the Wi-Fi connection on the printer and then re-enable it. This can sometimes help re-establish the connection to the Wi-Fi network.
- Check for Interference: Ensure that there are no electronic devices or physical barriers (such as walls or large objects) obstructing the Wi-Fi signal between the printer and the router. Interference can weaken the signal and cause connectivity problems.
- Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on the printer to restore it to its default settings. Keep in mind that this will erase all custom settings and configurations, so only do this if other troubleshooting steps have failed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
