Hi @LiBellamy ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting the "Print Failure. Print Spooler" message generally indicates an issue with the print spooler service, which is responsible for managing print jobs sent to the printer. Here's how to address it:
1. Restart the Print Spooler Service on Your Computer
If you're printing from a mobile device and the message is appearing, it's possible that your computer (if it's involved in the printing process) has an issue with its print spooler service. You can restart it:
- Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler in the list of services.
- Right-click on it and select Restart.
If you are printing directly from the mobile app and this service isn’t on your device, proceed with the steps below.
2. Clear the Print Queue on Your Mobile App or Device
Sometimes, a stalled print job can cause the spooler to fail:
- Open the HP Smart app or the printing interface on your mobile device.
- Check the print queue for any stuck jobs.
- Cancel or delete any jobs that are in progress.
- Try printing again.
3. Restart the Printer and Mobile Device
- Power cycle your HP ENVY 6020e printer by turning it off, waiting for 30 seconds, and turning it back on.
- Restart your mobile phone to clear any temporary issues.
4. Ensure Network Connectivity
Make sure that both your mobile device and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
5. Reinstall the HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
- If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app on your mobile phone.
- After reinstalling, reconnect your printer to the app.
Let me know if this helps or if the issue persists!
