Hi @Johann1955,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Update HP Smart App:

  • Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed. You can update the app from the Microsoft Store.

Check Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Enter your printer model and select the correct version of Windows 10 (32-bit).
  • Download and install the latest drivers available for your printer.

Run Windows Update:

  • Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date by running Windows Update. Microsoft may provide necessary updates that can resolve compatibility issues.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool to automatically diagnose and resolve printer hardware and connection issues.

Reinstall HP Software:

  • Uninstall the current HP software.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Reinstall the HP software by visiting 123.hp.com/setup to download the setup and installation file.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the computer via USB or network connection and is turned on.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer by visiting the HP website. Firmware updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

I hope this helps.
