Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Since you've turned off the metered connection and restarted both devices, let's try these steps to get your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e printing again.
Check Printer Status
- On your Windows PC, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e and select Manage.
- Click on Run the troubleshooter to diagnose and fix any detected issues.
Restart Printer and Router
- Turn off your printer, Wi-Fi router, and computer.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Turn on the router first, wait for it to fully restart.
- Turn on the printer and check if it's connected to the Wi-Fi.
- Finally, restart your computer.
Verify Printer Connectivity
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Wireless or Network Settings.
- Print a Wireless Network Test Report to check the connection.
- If the printer is disconnected, reconnect it by selecting Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
Remove and Reinstall the Printer
- On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e and select Remove device.
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall the printer:
- Download and install HP Smart from the HP website.
- Open HP Smart, click Add Printer, and follow the prompts to reconnect.
Check for Firmware and Driver Updates
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Download the latest firmware and drivers for your printer.
- Install the updates and restart both the printer and the computer.
I hope this helps.
