@GuyT1, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Basic Checks
Restart the printer: Power it off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
Restart your Wi-Fi router: Sometimes routers just need a reboot.
Check Wi-Fi on the printer: Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on the printer, and it’s trying to connect to the correct network.
Confirm no changes: Verify no Wi-Fi password or router settings have changed recently.
Printer Network Reset
Sometimes the printer’s network settings get stuck:
On the printer, find Wireless Settings or Network Setup menu.
Look for Restore Network Defaults or Reset Network Settings and confirm.
Then try reconnecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Re-add the Printer on Windows 11
Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
Select your HP ENVY 6055e, then choose Remove device.
Restart your PC.
Go back to Printers & scanners, click Add device, and follow the instructions to reconnect the printer.
Update Printer Firmware and Windows
On the printer or via HP Smart app, check for any firmware updates.
Ensure Windows 11 is up to date: Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
HP Smart App
Download or open the HP Smart app on your PC.
Use it to set up your printer again over Wi-Fi. It often helps detect and fix network issues.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
