Hi @Prasanna24,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Network Connection
- Move closer to router: Ensure that the printer and router are close to each other to improve signal strength.
- Check Internet connection: Verify that your internet connection is working by opening a website on your computer or mobile device.
- Restart router: Restart the Wi-Fi router by unplugging the power cord, waiting for 15 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
Restart Devices
- Restart printer: Turn the printer off and then back on to reset any error conditions.
- Restart computer/mobile device: Reboot the device you are using to set up the printer.
Enable Wi-Fi Setup Mode
- Enter Wi-Fi setup mode: On the printer control panel, press the Information button
for three seconds until all buttons on the control panel light up.
- Reset factory settings: Press the Information button and Cancel button simultaneously until "00" displays and the Wi-Fi button
blinks.
Attempt to Reconnect
- Follow setup guides: Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device and follow the prompts to reconnect the printer.
- Wi-Fi Password: Make sure you enter the correct Wi-Fi password when prompted in the HP Smart app.
- Printer display interactions: If prompted on the printer during setup, touch the check icon on the message "App is attempting to set up this printer."
Additional Steps
- Use Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer or mobile device during the setup process if prompted.
- Mobile device location service: Enable the mobile device’s location service and allow the HP Smart app to access your location for proper printer detection.
I hope this helps.
