Hi @Maz800, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Wi-Fi connectivity Issue with the Exclamation issue!

I understand your HP printer is flashing an exclamation mark, and you can’t access the WPS PIN after relocating; it’s likely stuck in a network setup or error state. Let’s get you printing ASAP:

Option 1: Use the HP Smart App to Reconnect Wi-Fi

  1. Reset the printer’s network settings:
    • On most HP printers:
Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel (X) buttons for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
    • This resets the network and puts the printer in setup mode.
  2. Install HP Smart on your phone or PC:
    • 🔗 HP Smart App Download
  3. Open the app and click “Set up a new printer”.
    • It will detect the printer in setup mode.
    • Follow the prompts to connect it to your new Wi-Fi.

Option 2: If you still want to use WPS PIN:

  1. On the printer control panel, go to:
    • Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wi-Fi Protected Setup > PIN
    • The WPS PIN will display on the screen for 90 seconds.
  2. On your PC, when prompted for the WPS PIN:
    • Enter the number shown on the printer screen.

⚠️ If the exclamation mark is flashing and you can’t access the screen, the printer may be in an error state or needs a reset.

Option 3: Full Printer Reset (if nothing works)

If the printer is unresponsive:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug it from power for 60 seconds.
  3. Plug it back in and turn it on.
  4. Try the network reset again (Wireless + Cancel for 5 seconds).
