Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Can’t connect by direct cable or WiFi without a password. No password on bottom of printer. Looks like a hard reset is necessary from my research. 
can anyone help with a hard reset? Thanks.

To assist you better, what is the issue with the printer?

Which password are you referring to?

Are you trying to connect the printer to a wireless network?

 

If yes, follow the steps mentioned in this document - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

 

To know how to perform a factory restore, refer to page 50 of the user guide.
