I have been trying to sign up for the instant ink service for my printer. Every time I get to the site and go through the steps, I get an instruction that tells me to print the Network Configuration page by pressing information and cancel buttons at the same time. When I push these on my printer, nothing happens. Nothing at all. I have tried connecting it via USB to my pc, I have tried setting it up as a new printer in the HP Smart app, I have tried turning it off and on. I made sure that it is connected with a strong connection to my wifi. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I cannot sign up for instant ink if I cannot get this button combo to print some code. This is for an HP DeskJet Plus 4140 All-in-One Printer.

Thanks Elohi but that is not the issue I am having. Its not an issue with signing up for instant ink. It is an issue in the process of signing up. It wants me to push the information and cancel buttons at the same time to print a Network Configuration page. When I push cancel and information at the same time, nothing prints. Nothing happens at all.

Hi @RandiBoviall,
Let's try a power reset on the printer.
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
