o connect your HP wireless printer to a new Wi-Fi network with a changed service name and password, follow these steps:
Connect Your Printer to a New Wi-Fi Network
Prepare the Network Information:
- Know your new Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Network Password.
Restore Wi-Fi Settings:
- Press and hold the Wireless button on your printer's control panel for about 20 seconds. Release it when the Attention LED and the Power LED start blinking together. This will reset the wireless settings to default.
Set Up the Printer to New Wi-Fi:
- On your control panel, go to Network Settings and select the Wi-Fi setup.
- Use the Wizard (recommended) to automatically detect available networks and select your new Wi-Fi from the list.
- Enter your network password to connect.
Use HP Smart App for Setup:
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the new Wi-Fi network.
- Open the HP Smart App and add the printer by following the onscreen guidance.
Print Using the HP Smart App
Using the HP Smart App, you can print from a connected device:
- Open the HP Smart App on your device.
- Select your printer, tap Printer Settings, and configure as needed.
Replace Dried-Up Ink Cartridges
Check HP Instant Ink:
- If you use HP Instant Ink or the HP All-In Plan, new cartridges can be sent automatically when ink is low. Ensure your subscription is active and check for any shipments.
Purchase Ink:
- Visit the HP website or a local store to purchase compatible ink cartridges for your printer model.
Install New Cartridges:
- Open the printer’s ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the old cartridge and install the new one in the correct slot.
