Its been fine but suddenly my HP OfficePro 9014 will not connect and scan doctor cannot connect to it either wireless or when the ethernet cable is plugged in. Nothing can communicate with it. Have rebooted it several times, the HP blue line appears and fills from left to right completely but that's it. The screen stays on that so I cannot go into settings to get the computer back online via the printer and nor can I do so from the laptop as cant communicate with printer. Help! This is not an old machine, have only had it about a year.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that your printer screen is frozen, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
