I'm beyond frustrated I hope someone can help me.  I've been using this printer for a whole` year with no problems. I have it connected through WIFI, It's a stand alone printer. I don't have it connected to any computers. I mainly use it to print out shipping labels for my business. My method is to drop the shipping labels into a folder in my Google Drive on my laptop and from the printer I go into the Google Drive App and just print the labels out from there. Never had a issue till Today.

Even though the Blue WIFI indicator light is lite up solid on printer and WIFI Summary indicates that I'm connected to the internet. There's a yellow notification on the far left of the main screen of printer. When I click on that it says "Checking Registration Status" afterwards it says the Printer has NO internet connection and that I should set Proxys if I have them but I never used Proxys before and never set them on this printer (It's defaulted at Automatic). I have internet as my laptop and computer are working fine with it and the printer shows that it's connected to WIFI, why am I getting "No Internet Connection" message?  For some reason I can't get into the google drive app to print my labels. Printer has the latest update

Could you mention the fix please? I have hte same issue on HP Officejet Pro 8625. I am unable to scan, send email etc and it keeps saying "checking registration status" followed by "check username/password" even though I am connected to the internet.

Same problem

Exactly the same issue here with HP Officejet Pro 8610:

- Connected to my wifi using the printers touchpad with no problems.

- Connected AND printing with USB cable connection with no problems.

- Tried changing from USB connection to wifi using HP software, finds printer wirelessly on the network check but fails every time on 'installing network printer'.

Running Windows 10 which is totally up to date, only Windows defender used as anti-virus/firewall. My Samsung printer connects wirelessly and prints across wifi with no problems.

Print a Network Configuration Page to find detailed information on network connectivity.

  1. Load plain white paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon , and then touch the Settings icon .

  3. Touch Print Reports, and then touch Network Configuration Page.

  4. Check if the wireless radio is working.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks did all that seamlessly, computer didn't error when connecting the printer via the network wirelessly (during the installation process).

However as soon as I try to print the print queue errors immediately and it does not print. Tried restarting the print job but have to delete it from the queue as it errors again.

Restarted both PC and printer to no avail. However on my laptop it prints across WiFi with no problems.
