I am having similar issue of my printer wanting to connect by ethernet cord and it should be wireless. I already troubleshooted and need instructions on reset as well. Please help. I am starting to think this printer wasn't such a good investment. Especially since so many people are having the same issue.

Did you try to re-connect the printer to the network?
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
If this does not help, I have sent you a private message with a set of instructions to perform a reset. Kindly check the same, this might help you to resolve this issue. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
