Hello. I purchased an HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw printer (serial # VNBRN9J72V) in Switzerland a few years ago. I just moved to the US and would like to use the same printer. I bought a new power cord which is three pronged and fits into the printer, but it does not seem to be providing power to the printer. Did I buy the wrong cord? Or is there a voltage problem? Please help.

Your swiss printer is 220V power, in USA you have 110V power it will not work.
