Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

This advice worked!  At last!  Turn off web services and then, reconnect web services.  It will ask you to type in email address and will send a pin number to that email address.  Follow prompts.   I was able to scan.  Just hope these actions do not have to be done each and every time a document or photo scan is needed.

I am also having the same issue.  I have removed web services and re-enabled only to have the issue come back a day later.  Any suggestions on how to fix this issue permanently?

I feel your pain.  This printer has been excellent for my needs for several years and to have it all of a sudden not work is unacceptable!  I used the ePrint option all the time to send emails to my printer from devices that are not connected to my network (like to have my kids print something on my printer).  Turning web services off then back on changes the email address assigned to my printer. 😞

I completely removed web services and reinstalled..  I was able to use scan functionality for 30 minutes.  Now I get the same message that the printer could not connect to web service.   WHAT THE HECK.....

I understand you are not able to scan to email and web services are not working on the printer.

 

Restart web services:

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Cannot Connect to Web Services

 

To access the EWS page of the printer,

  • Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  • Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
  • If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website.
