Hello. This has been a great printer for six years now. I'm having my first issue with it. Everything works except I can't scan documents. I receive a (The printer could not connect to web services . The Server might be busy or temporarily unavailable. Try again later) message. I have unplugged the device. I logged in on HP's website using the URL for Embedded Web Server, and my printer is showing to be online and that everything is fine. Is this a fixable issue? Does HP have periods where the network stays down for prolonged periods of time? This started two days ago, and customer service will not help unless I pay them $20 over the phone. Can I set up a manual address and use another server like Google maybe?

@MrBiggs1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you are not able to scan using the printer. It seems like an issue with the HP server. Kindly try again later.
Have you tried scanning from the computer using the HP Smart app and check if that works?
Try restarting web services

I have a HP Office Jet Pro all the cartridges are but the magenta is empty. I know it wouldn't print until the cartridges are replaced but it won't connect to the internet so I can scan documents to my email account. I have had the printer 6 years and never had a problem. I have shut off and restarted both the modem and the printer. My other devices that use the internet are working fine. The only thing different is the depleted color cartridge. When I shut off the printer and turn back on, it give the depleted cartridge warning, I then go to home page and the wireless icon shows connected to modem which is works, but as soon as I push the button to bring up apps for the scanning it shows warning that printer is not connected to the internet. What can I do? Will replacing all the ink cartridges fix the problem?

Thanks for the speedy reply. I was able to resolve the issue be removing web services and reinstalling them. Unfortunately, I have to do this every time I need to scan something. I had to remove web services and reinstall them again to scan to my email this morning. This is most likely go to be a reoccurring problem.

It sucks. I hope HP hasn't stopped supporting this printer. It's all I need and it's never let me down. If you're seeing this response HP, I have used HP products for twenty years. I'm not paying $20 for your customer service either. That alone makes me want to switch brands. Come on HP!

Please, check that your printer is not in the list in the following link

I suspect it has something to do with it.
