Kumar0307...you made this post back in June and here we are half way through August and we are having the same issue. I can not scan to email unless I remove Web Services and then reinstall Web Services. Has HP even tried to fix this problem yet...and YES I do believe this is THEIR problem to fix

@GailD3, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

If you have tried the steps mentioned in the previous posts by HP representatives and the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region for further assistance.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

I have reached out several times and they have tried every time to FIX the problem...its works a few times then right back to the message Im not connected to the WebServices. They are putting a bandaid on the problem.

You may very well be an HP Employee but you may very well be turning a blind eye to this issue.... you have over a dozen people here with the very same issue..do you not think most, if not all, of them have connected Tech Support. Read their responses!!! The fix is NOT a fix at all.... every single one of these post say it always goes back to the problem. Right now Instant Ink can not read my printer... they think they can, until I let them know I am not connected..and when they go to read it manually... they see I am not connected and also recommend I talk to Tech Support LOL...they are of no help at all if it doesnt fix the problem permanently

@GailD3

I understand your concern. Let me escalate this issue to the concerned team.

Please look for a private message from me requesting additional information. Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Having the same problem.  Have tried all the troubleshooting steps here.  Nothing works.  Ready to throw away my printer and get an Epson.

And it wont work either.... they basically told me to buy a new printer. You have to go into settings on your printer and turn off WebServices then reload WebServices and it should work for a minute..but it will go down again and you will need to do it all again. They sent me several private messages and the last one offered me a $25 coupon for a new printer. EVERYTHING else works great..I just can't scan to email and they think Im going to buy a new printer... I think not

Like everyone else, I have tried the same things.  I remove and reinstall web services. It works for that one scan and fails the next time I try. I have confirmed that the printer is on the latest firmware. I have sent the printer for factory settings, updated the WIFI and removed restarted web services. It worked for that scan.  We will see if the next one works without removing and reinstalling web services. And of course support maintenance agreement ended in January 2021.  If they just aren't supporting this anymore, they need to come clean and be honest with us.  Bad customer support!

Good luck on getting any support.. I was on the phone twice with them and both times was over an hour.. not one time did any of the 5 people I spoke with mention anything about my warranty. I got a private message asking for all the info on my printer (serial# name, etc.) because they wanted to escalate this issue up the food chain. Then I got another private message informing me about my warranty, which was never any good...but my machine worked perfectly for 3yrs, and now in order to get support I need to buy a new machine LOL. Other then not being able to scan to email... I hate that my Instant Ink can't be read and I have to actually call them when my ink is low... I guess I should cancel that. I did love not having to worry about running out of ink.
