My printer is off-line. I've been in contact with internet provider - everything is fine after 1-1/2 hours trying various options. When I try to get the printer on-line using wizard, the printer indicates that the password is incorrect. It is not. I don't understand how the printer could be working fine one day and off-line the next. Any suggestions?

Hi @Frustrated329,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with your HP Officejet 6600 printer going offline despite your internet connection being fine. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.
- Restart Your Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart Your Router: Similar to restarting your printer, power cycling your router can sometimes resolve connectivity problems. Turn off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Check Network Settings: Make sure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Navigate to the printer's settings menu and verify the network settings.
- Re-enter Wi-Fi Password: Even if you're sure the password is correct, try entering it again. Make sure there are no typos.
- Update Printer Firmware: Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues. Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them.
- Reset Printer Network Settings: As a last resort, you can try resetting the printer's network settings to default and then reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection from scratch.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, there might be a deeper problem with the printer's hardware or software.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
