@deebrd, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Offline Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your printer is still offline after unplugging the router, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Ensure Wireless Capabilities are Enabled:

  • Make sure the wireless light on your printer is turned on. If it's not, you can enable it by tapping the Menu icon > Settings > Network > Wi-Fi > toggle Wi-Fi to ON.

Check Ethernet Cable Connection:

  • Make sure that an Ethernet cable has not been connected to the printer. Connecting an Ethernet cable turns off the printer's wireless capabilities.

Restart the Wireless Network:

  • Turn off your router and printer, then turn them back on in this order: router first and then the printer. This process often resolves network communication issues by refreshing the connection.

Run the Wireless Network Test:

  • Perform a Wireless Network Test on your printer. To do this, tap the Menu icon > Settings > Network > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Test Report. The printed test report may include recommendations to solve any detected issues.

Advanced Wireless Network Troubleshooting:

  • Ensure your computer's wireless networking is turned on. Check whether your computer is connected to your network and not a nearby network.

Check Printer Status:

  • For Windows:
    • Click Start > Configuration > Devices > Printers and Scanners.
    • If the printer shows as Offline, right-click it and select "Use Printer Online."
    • If it is Paused, right-click and select "Resume Printing."
  • For Mac OS X:
    • Click System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print Queue.
    • If "Jobs Stopped" appears, click "Start Jobs."

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
