HPOFFICEJETPRO9018 ALL-IN-ONE-PRINTER: Last few weeks I have had to tap the LED screen to get the printer to wake up & function. Starting yesterday, any job I have- I must first unplug and restart it, as not even the on/off switch will work. Once plugged in again- it works!
Are there any fixes?

Hi @asustudent,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with the printer staying online.
Perform a power reset on the printer.
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet - Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
If the above steps do not fix the issue, Let's perform a semi-full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The printer needs to be on a fixed IP address. Either that or you set it to never sleep.
If you still need help with this let me know.
