HP Envy Photo 7155

I just bought an HP Envy Photo 7155 to print art prints and stickers. However, this thing absolutely refuses to connect to my wifi. My wifi shows up as "not encrypted." Which is not true. So when I try to connect to it, you know, it doesn't work. I don't have a way to connect it directly to my router. I don't have the USB cable to connect it to my computer (because I specifically wanted wifi for a reason). My print report suggested a mac address problem but that turned up nothing either. So far, I've done every single thing suggested in every other thread on this topic (short of praying) and nothing has helped. I'd really rather not go through the process of trying to return it.

If anyone can tell me how to fix this problem, I'd be incredibly grateful. This was

Welcome to the HP support community.

3. Touch Restore Network Settings.

4. Touch Yes.

5. Print the network conƭguration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Set up the printer on your wireless network using Wireless Setup Wizard

1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch (Wireless).

2. Touch ( Settings ).

3. Touch Wireless Settings.

4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup.

5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

I hope that helps.

Thank you. I have tried both and neither work. When I try to connect to my wifi, it does not prompt me to enter the password. So therefore, it does not connect.

HP8035 had been working fine now cannot connect with WIFI even though it can see the router.  Have tried all the remedies on web site.

Your solution partially worked. After I reset the printer and restarted the setup process, it finally prompted me for my wifi password. However, it decided my password was wrong (it was not). After scouring more threads, someone suggested going into the router itself and changing the security mode from WPA2 to just WPA. This seemed to do the trick. The printer is now working smoothly.

So if anyone else is having a similar issue, the problem might be with your wifi router and not the printer.
