Hi @FrankMaler,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet 7110 Wide Format EPrinter - H812a It sounds like you're encountering a persistent issue with your HP OfficeJet 7110 printer where it keeps reprinting previous jobs after completing them, requiring you to reboot your computer to initiate a new print job successfully. This can be frustrating, but there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Printer Firmware Update: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, firmware updates can address bugs and compatibility issues that may be causing the problem.
- Driver Update: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Install them and see if the issue persists.
- Check Print Queue: Before rebooting your computer, check the print queue on your computer to ensure that the previous print jobs have been cleared. Sometimes, print jobs can get stuck in the queue, preventing new jobs from printing.
- Reset Printer: Try resetting your printer to its factory defaults. This can sometimes resolve software-related issues that may be causing the problem. Refer to your printer's user manual or the HP support website for instructions on how to reset your specific model.
- Reinstall Printer: If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling the printer from your computer and then reinstalling it. This can help reset any configuration settings that may be causing the issue.
