We switched Internet provider and I am having problems connecting our printer to the new internet device. The printer does recognize our Network, however when I enter the password I get the message that it is unable to connect the internet. Both our phones, our PC and two tv's are currently connected to the Internet, so there is no problem with our Internet connection.

Hi @Megs1608,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing issues connecting your HP Officejet 6600 printer to the new internet device, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Restart the Router:
- Unplug the power cable from your internet router.
- Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Plug the router back in and wait for it to fully restart.
Check Network Settings:
- On the printer, go to the control panel and navigate to the wireless or network settings.
- Make sure the printer is set to the correct network and that the password entered is correct.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website.
- If updates are available, download and install them as they may include fixes for connectivity issues.
Verify Security Settings:
- Ensure that the security settings on the new router are compatible with the printer. Some printers may have issues with certain security protocols.
- If your new router has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, try connecting the printer to each band separately.
Reset Network Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings.
- Find the option to reset network settings or restore defaults.
- Perform the reset and then set up the wireless connection again.
Firewall/Antivirus Interference:
- Check if any firewall or antivirus software on your computer is blocking the printer from connecting to the network. Temporarily disable these programs and attempt to connect the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
