I have a HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer. Thru HP Smart I try to look at the Embedded Web Server information but I seem to have forgotten my pass word, I'm also having trouble printing from my pc. I have the printer on my network and am hoping to  use the printer from the network. Is a printer reset in order?

@Lakland, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

If you do not remember the EWS page password, we will have to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue. Once done, you will have to reconnect the printer to the computer wirelessly.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
