Hi @GG2310,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating this can be, but don't worry—I'll help you reconnect your HP DeskJet 2710 All-in-One Printer to your new router. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
- Turn on the printer.
- Hold down the Cancel (X) button and Wireless button together for 3 seconds until the Wireless light blinks. This resets the network settings, preparing the printer for a new connection.
Step 2: Connect Printer to Wi-Fi using HP Smart
Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device if you haven't already.
Open the HP Smart app and click on Add Printer.
Ensure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
Follow the on-screen prompts in HP Smart to add your printer and connect it to the Wi-Fi network.
- The app will guide you to enter your Wi-Fi details and establish the connection.
Step 3: Restart Devices
Once connected, restart your printer, router, and computer/mobile device to ensure all devices are synchronized with the new network.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Ensure the printer is close to the router during setup.
- If the Wi-Fi light continues blinking after setup, the printer may still be in setup mode or have trouble connecting to the network. Reset the printer's network settings again and retry.
