I have an HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 and I have forgotten the username and password of the Printer's Embedded Web Page (EWS) that I set at the initial setup of my printer. Now I want to reset the username and password of the Printer's Embedded Web Page (EWS) . How can I do that?

Hi @YatharthGupta,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand that you are having issues with the password.
To reset the username and password of the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for your HP Ink Tank Wireless 410, you’ll typically need to perform a factory reset on the printer. This process will reset the EWS settings along with other configurations back to their default settings. Here's how you can reset your printer:
Steps to Reset the HP Ink Tank Wireless 410:
Turn on the Printer: Ensure the printer is powered on.
Restore Factory Settings:
- Press and hold the "Cancel" button (Red X) and the "Wireless" button (Wi-Fi icon) on your printer simultaneously for about 3-5 seconds.
- This action should reset the printer's network settings and the EWS settings to their defaults.
Reconnect to the Network:
- After the reset, you will need to set up your printer on the network again. You can use the HP Smart app or the printer software on your computer to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Once the printer is back on the network, open a web browser on your computer.
- Enter the printer’s IP address in the browser’s address bar to access the EWS.
- The default username is usually "admin" and there should be no password or the password will be reset to default (blank).
Set a New Username and Password:
- In the EWS, navigate to the security settings or the admin settings section where you can set a new username and password for future access.
If you still encounter issues or if these steps don't reset the EWS password, you may need to contact phone support.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi Elohi,
The printer is still asking for some password. I have full admin control but it is asking for some password that I never set up. The printer is in setup mode but shows that "a custom password has been set up for your printer. Enter the password to access the printer web interface". Please let me know how can I fix it.
