I tried to update the software and firmware to get the wifi to connect, but now the printer will not respond. The power and warning light blink together then go positive. The computer is not able to connect to the printer at all now. Any advice on how to reset the printer and reconnect?

Welcome to the HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
If you have a USB cable you can convert to Wireless connection:-
Here are the steps:-
HP Smart app: On the app home screen, look for a Make printing easier by connecting your printer wirelessly message at the top of the window. If it displays, click Learn More to start the guided conversion.
NOTE:If the message does not display, use the method to convert the connection through the HP Printer Setup & Software utility.
Figure : Set up the printer wirelessly in HP Smart

Sandytechy20. Unfortunately the computer is unable to establish two-way connection with the device via USB now. The green and caution lights blink, go solid for a while, then just the caution light blinks, then they both start blinking again. Is there anyway to do a manual reset on the printer itself?
