Every time I print from this new printer, I must restart it.  It is hardwired now and it still is unfindable.

Now I can’t even get it to work by unplugging it.

Did this:  uninstall, and then reinstalled the drivers. For any working OS be it PC or Mac- which I’ve done.ed

Restart the unit, which I’ve done.
Check the IP and dedicate an IP, address- which I’ve done.

Restart the local router, dedicate the ip, which I’ve done.

You  assume that  setup is hard-wired onto the network with an Ethernet Cable, when it’s currently wirelessly connected.

Also  Master router is on another level of home. The one in the office is a signal repeater, from the lower level.

This version of printer can only be hardwired to a router, or wirelessly connected. But cannot do both at the same time. (Please feel free to confirm on their support if the printer can be both hardwired and wireless to the network connection. At the same time.)

The printer has a label on it showing that it can only be one, or the other at a time.

We even took the extra step, which they haven’t mentioned USB connection type- to share the printer on the network, using the main mac Desktop that can share a printer connection using the sharing settings in system preferences.

Best Buy is replacing it. It’s not my first HP printer.  Right now I have 5 in different locations and never had a problem.   Thanks for your help
