Every time I print from this new printer, I must restart it. It is hardwired now and it still is unfindable.

Now I can’t even get it to work by unplugging it.

Check the Printer's Ethernet Connection
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the printer and your router.
- Check if the printer's IP address is valid:
- On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Network Settings > Ethernet to find the IP address (e.g., 192.168.x.x).
- Confirm the IP address matches your network's IP range.
Update Printer Firmware
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest firmware for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the printer firmware.
Clear Print Queue on macOS
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select the printer and click Open Print Queue.
- Cancel all pending print jobs in the queue.
Restart Printer and Network
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for at least 60 seconds.
- Restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds.
- Plug in the router and allow it to fully boot up.
- Plug in the printer, turn it on, and check if it becomes visible.
Assign a Static IP Address
- Open a browser and enter the printer’s IP address to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Navigate to Network Settings > Advanced Settings and assign a static IP address within your network’s range.

Update Printer Firmware

Clear Printing Queue

Reinstall Printer Drivers

- macOS: System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select the printer, and click Remove (-).
- Reinstall drivers using the HP Smart app or download them from the HP website.
Factory Reset the Printer
- On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Settings.
- Reconfigure the printer setup.
