Why do I have two, you ask? Because I went cheap and bought this model in June. It worked fine -- until it didn't.
After a month the printer inexplicably went offline now and then. I unplugged, replugged, restarted, and it went back online. Then I began getting the "Unable to print. Door Open" error message. The door was not open.
This was about the time when it went offline for good. Phone support troubleshot, no results, and agreed to send me a replacement. Great.
I unboxed it this weekend and this one NEVER connected to WiFi. Multiple attempts to link it with two home desktops AND via the HP Smart phone app failed. Nothing doing. I spent an hour with tech support today, and he did splendidly trying
everything to help, but this machine was doomed from the start.
I'm getting out my old reliable Officejet 5745, which connects to the computer via USB. That works. I now have two 2755s that are useless. I'm getting a callback tomorrow about the refund I have demanded.
