Greetings,
is there a solution to this problem described in object?
I want to clarify that after selecting the document to print nothing happens, but if I select the printer in devices and printers, and apply the problem detection tool, when it has finished searching for errors, the printer prints the previously selected document normally, but in the error detection tool it does not indicate what the problem is, it just says that the printer has a problem ..
Also using Windows 7, printing without problems ...
Thanks for any help.
Ps. I would also need a replacement for the aforementioned printer, if anyone has a similar one that is not working or the spare ( Link ) , kindly let me know.
Thanks
PS. This is the last: the printer also prints from smartphones with the PC off ...
So, if that gives me a lot, the problem is in the Envy firmware that does not recognize the W10 input!

@alpha454, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to print from your Win 10 PC. To assist you better,
- Which application are you trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Make sure the printer is connected wirelessly to the computer on the same network. Install the printer using the TCP/IP port:
Check for any pending Windows updates first.
- On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Remove the existing printer entry > click on Add a printer(at the top)
- Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
- Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
- Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
- Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks for the reply...
In conclusion, the printer in Windows 10 prints correctly if I use both cartridges, while the problem occurs using only one cartridge.
With the other S.O. (Windows 7 and Smartphone) works correctly even in single color independent cartridge mode.
With regard
PS, is it normal that you see two printers in HP print and scan Doctor?

Did you install the printer using TCP/IP port as mentioned on Win 10 and check if you are able to print using a single ink cartridge?
This model printer supports printing in single-cartridge mode.
The PSDR detects USB and wireless installation of the printers.
Keep me posted.

Thanks for your help,
following the instructions for installing the printer using TCP / IP port, it seems to work normally ...
Now I am left without control software, what do you recommend to install or is it better to uninstall all HP software and redo everything from the beginning, according to the instructions you kindly give me?
I thank
With regard.

Glad to know that you are able to print now. However, if you want the printer control panel software on the computer, there are 2 options - HP Smart or Full feature software.
Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win 10 PC
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Or, perform a clean reinstallation of pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Let me know how it goes.

@KUMAR0307
Hi,
I used the configuration given below and the error came back ...
what did i do wrong?
"Or, perform a clean reinstallation of pre-installed HP drivers
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer."
Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
This operation brings me back to the initial conditions with a printing error.
Is there no printer control software without installing drivers (HP print assistant type as below)?
Thank you.
