This was not helpful. I have very little on my printer and I don't know how you would accept a connection to the wifi and even type a password. I took a picture of what it looks like. The stuff just keeps blinking.

Hi @slstrake,
Thank you for sharing the image of the printer control panel screen. Please try the steps shared below, this will help get the printer connected to the new network.
Step 1: Perform a Network or Factory Reset
✅ To Reset the Network Settings:
For most HP printers with button-based control panels:
- Turn on the printer and wait until it's idle.
- Press and hold:
- Wi-Fi (📶) and Cancel (❌) buttons together for 5–10 seconds, until the Power light blinks.
- The wireless light will blink, indicating the network settings have been reset.
📌 On some models, you may need to press and hold Wireless + Black Copy buttons or Wireless + Cancel — consult your printer's manual if unsure.
Step 2: Set Up with HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart app: HP printer setup (HP Smart app) | HP® Support
- Open the HP Smart app and create or sign in to your HP account.
- Click “Add Printer”.
- The app will search for printers in Setup Mode (this happens automatically after a reset).
- When your printer appears, select it and follow the prompts to:
- Connect it to your Wi-Fi network
- Complete printer registration and Instant Ink setup (optional)
If the printer doesn’t show up, ensure the Wi-Fi light is blinking and your phone or PC is on the same network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
