I am able to print wirelessly to the printer, but when I attempt to scan to email, I get the web services server issue. I've tried to reboot my internet, have shut down the printer and restarted, have set printer to factory default and re-connected to my router, nothing seems to work. I am also unable to scan to a thumb drive. When I insert the thumb drive, it pops up a quick error B8BF39A0 and i have to shut down the printer. The thumb drive is NOT corrupt, I use it on my laptop with no problem. Any suggestions, other than what i've already tried, would be appreciated

Hi @DawnK3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with Unable to Connect to Web Services Server.
Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.
Confirm your printer supports Web Services
- Make sure your printer supports Web Services.
- Make sure your printer is connected to the internet. Web Services does not support printers connected with only a USB cable.
- Determine if your printer automatically enables Web Services during printer setup.
- For printer released before 2020, continue with these steps.
- For HP+ printers and printers released after 2020, Web Services is automatically enabled during printer setup after enabling cloud printing services, such as Print Anywhere or Instant Ink. Restore factory defaults on your HP printer to help resolve any setup issues, and then go to 123.hp.com to set up your printer with the HP Smart app.
- On the printer or control panel, look for an ePrint
or Web Services
icon. For printers with a touchscreen, touch Setup (
or
), and then look for a Web Services menu.
- If the icon or menu is available, continue with these steps.
- If the icon or menu is missing, the printer might not support Web Services. Go to Mobile Printing Solutions to see if your printer supports HP ePrint or Print Anywhere, indicating it supports Web Services.
Click here for the remaining steps.
