I recently upgraded my network to the ATT fiber optic network from the old copper phone line based system. That necessitated a new router (gateway in ATT speak). Prior to the router change, the printer(HP Photosmart Premium C309a) connected to the network with no issues. I have been able to connect my laptop, tablet and 2 cell phones to the new network router easily. But no luck with the printer. I go to Setup, Network. Wireless Setup Wizard, and it searches and successfully finds my network SSID (broadcasting @ 2.4 GHz). I enter the WPA Passphrase ( the same one I used to connect the laptop, tablet and cellphones) and confirm the settings. I receive the message "Invalid WPA Passphase. I run the wireless network test report. "Your wireless router requires a WPA Passphrase. The passphrase configured on your HP printer does not match exactly". Wireless On pass, Wireless Working pass. Network Name (SSID) Found Pass, Security FAIL. Printer Settings Consistent with Wireless Router Settings, No Filtering, Connected: Not Run ( for all 3). Hardware Address (MAC) :00:26:55:5a:90:0,d , IP Address and Configuration Source: both not applicable, Communication Mode: Infrastructure, Authentication Type: WPA-PSK: Encryption: Automatic (AES orTKIP).
Both blue lights are on and solid (not blinking)
I have tried everything I can think of to connect the printer to the network including Restoring Network Defaults and unplugging/replugging after approx 2 minutes both the printer and router.
How do I connect this printer to my revised ATT fiber optic wi-fi network?
