Apologies, I know hundreds of people have had this issue as well but none of the 'solutions' seem to work.

 

I haven't used my printer in a few years and have decided to set it up again. It connects to wifi (I have a TP Link Deco Mesh set up), my laptop can see it. However, to do anything, I need to set up Web Services. If I try it from the printer it tells me it couldn't be enabled. I've tried going in through HP Smart on the laptop but I get this message:

Unable to connect to the server.
Check the Internet connection and try again. If you are still unable to connect, contact your administrator or the person who set up the printer.
If your network requires a proxy server address to connect to Internet, click Enter Proxy or check your browser settings.

I've tried every solution I could find on the internet, semi-reset, static IP address etc. Everything! 

 

I want to set up Instant Ink again but I can't because Web Services need to be enabled first. Basically everything seems to need Web Services before I can use the big plastic brick in the corner of my room. Can anyone help? In simple terms! Please!

Please download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC, then check for any difference:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ojp8620/OJP8620_1910A.exe

OK so the firmware has been updated and Web Services was able to connect. However, it then comes up with this screen:

But when it goes to the HP Connected link in my browser I get the following:

I've tried to go into HP Connected manually and was able to sign in and tried to re-enrol my printer on Instant Ink but it asks me to do the following:

I've pressed the ePrint icon on the printer as it instructs and it checks registration status but returns this error message:

My printer is connected to the internet. Is it perhaps because I haven't activated Web Services at HP Connected as per the first instruction above?

 

How do I resolve this?

My HP OfficeJet 9010 series printer/scanner won't connect to Web Services or Instant Ink, which I have already subscribed to with the same printer.

 

When trying to enable WebServices, I keep getting the message on screen: 

"The printer was unable to connect to the Web Services server because the server might be busy or temporarily unavailable. However, the printer will try to connect again."

Signing in to the HP Instant Ink site shows the following notification:

"Printer Connection Lost! You must re-enable Web Services on your printer and add it back to your HP Connected account to continue printing with HP Instant Ink."

 

I am able to print from my computer and scan to a network folder, both when using Ethernet and when using WiFi.

I have tried power-cycling the printer, computer, and router together for several minutes, but the problem persists.

Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

I've not had a reply to my follow up error message where ePrint can't connect to the internet. See message above with the screenshots.

 

Can someone take a look and help please?
