@BAprinter, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet 2700 printer has lost its connection to your Wi-Fi network after you changed modems. This is a very common issue because your printer was previously configured to connect to your old modem's network, and now it needs to be set up for the new one. The blinking white and blue lights on your HP DeskJet 2700 indicate a network connection issue.
1. Turn on your printer and make sure it is in a ready state.
2. Restore Network Settings:
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button until the power light blinks.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi:
Using WPS: Press the WPS button on your router, then press and hold the Wireless button on your printer until the wireless light starts blinking. Wait for the connection to establish.
Using HP Smart App: Download the HP Smart app on your device, open it, and follow the prompts to add your printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
